Originally from Puerto Rico, I have lived in Germany, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Alabama, and Georgia. I have visited England, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Washington D. C., Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Florida, and New York.

Most of this travel was with the military. I am a Viet-Nam Era veteran. Things I liked about the travel and the countries and states I have been to are the sense of history and the sense of being home no matter where I went. Things that were difficult were the exhaustion that curtailed exploration in the limited time available, and the nuances of culture that could make a day confusing and lengthy.

I continue to enjoy family life with four children and 4 grandchildren. I marvel at the dimensions of life that each of these cherished ones bring into my life. Getting older means getting wiser. Getting wiser means accepting that each of us on planet earth can be who we are, completely free to enjoy life in whatever shape it comes.

As you can tell, I wax poetical - that is part of growing up within a romance language in a small island in the Caribbean. Our Puerto Rico is also know as the Pearl of the Caribbean, and Borinquen. As we say over there: I am not loud, I am Puertorrican. We are passionate and are not afraid to show it. Our Spanish language is florid with the sounds of a poet in its words. Add to this the experience of a rich life, and you find me: a woman who likes to share the good, for the bad is heard from most often.
